'Pick & Stick' Fused Glass Workshop

'Pick & Stick' Fused Glass Workshops are aimed at beginners to fused glass: a chance to come and have some fun making your very own works of glass art with no experience necessary! ​You will use crushed glass (frit), strands of glass (stringers), murrini (glass flowers) and small pieces of glass to make up to 3 of the following: * glass candle arc or wave * handkerchief tealight holders * square tea light holders * coaster * small wall hanging * flower hearts/circles Time permitting, additional pieces may be made at a cost of £10 per item. The cost will include all materials and up to 2 firings in the kiln. Your work will be ready for collection from the workshop roughly 10-14 days later (postage can also be arranged at extra cost). Hot & cold drinks are included - let me know if you have special requirements ie: non-dairy milk. The workshops are suitable for ages 10 and above (parents must stay with under 16s) and no previous experience of working with glass is required - it really is as the title suggests: Pick & Stick! £45 per person with a £10 non-refundable deposit per person is required to secure your place; this is payable online when you book your place. A refund will only be issued should I need to cancel the class. The balance will be due on the day and I can accept card or cash payments. ​If you need to cancel you will be liable for full payment unless 1 calendar months’ notice is given, in which case the full fee (minus deposit) will be refunded to you. Workshops will only run if I have a minimum of 3 people booked and I therefore reserve the right to reschedule any workshop that doesn't fulfill this criteria. I can accept a maximum of 6 people. These workshops are very popular and run on Friday and Saturday mornings: they start at 10:00 and last up to 2 hours.
